There is something truly special about Sundays in Banderas Bay. Life seems to slow down just enough for everyone to reconnect with the simple pleasures that make this beautiful corner of paradise so unique.
For some, the day may begin with breakfast at Langostinos on Los Muertos Beach, coffee in hand while listening to the waves roll onto the shore. Others may spend the morning browsing through local artisan markets, enjoying a relaxing round of golf beneath swaying palm trees, or simply taking in the breathtaking scenery during a sunset stroll along one of our many beautiful beaches.
One of our favorite Sunday traditions takes us north to La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and to a beloved local gathering spot: Marina Bar & Grill, affectionately known by locals as "Osos."
The afternoons there have a rhythm all their own. Live music fills the air during the weekly Open Mic session hosted by The Group Therapy Band, creating the perfect atmosphere for friends, visitors, locals, and musicians to come together. For me personally, it is also a wonderful opportunity to get up with my bass and jam with the boys while surrounded by friendly faces, laughter, dancing, singing, and an incredible sense of community.
It is moments like these that truly capture the spirit of life in Banderas Bay. The warmth of the people, the vibrant local music scene, the relaxed coastal lifestyle, and the natural beauty that surrounds us all combine to create an experience that is difficult to describe until you have lived it yourself.
And honestly, these are just a few small examples of everything our beautiful region has to offer.
